The kitchen of a house was badly damaged today after an electrical fault in a fridge-freezer caused a fire.Firefighters were called to the terraced house in Ruby Street, Newfoundpool, Leicester, at 6.43am.Two fire crews from Western station used breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze.The fire caused 70 percent fire and smoke damage to the kitchen.The blaze, which had spread to the first floor, caused 15 percent smoke damage to the bathroom.No-one was hurt in the incident.The house was empty at...
