An elderly woman was hit by an ambulance outside Leicester Royal Infirmary yesterday afternoon.She was knocked over but not thought to be badly hurt. The incident happened at about 3.45pm in the main car park outside the Havelock Street entrance of the hospital. A witness, who did not want to be named, said the Arriva patient transport vehicle, hit the woman when it was reversing.
