Firefighters were called to a burning car in a garage in Thurmaston yesterday.A crew from Birstall went to Smith Avenue shortly after 4pm to find the car well alight.Firefighters wearing breathing equipment tackled the blaze. The car suffered fire and smoke damage in the blaze, which Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service say was started accidentally.
